Fashionable "Fancy Pants" Blue Jean Purse

Very "in style" blue jean purse. I make these out of little girls blue jeans. This one has a bronze and silverstudded butterfly on the front pocket. I have hand-beaded the handles (which have silvertone findings) to coordinate with the butterfly and added a brown flowered belt with a silvertone buckle.

It is fully lined and then a fabric covered lightweight "board" is added on the bottom and sides for strength and durability. The five pockets are fully functional. (Even the zipper still works for hiding valuables). All my blue jean purses have a bug or flower charm added to the back beltloop.

I am currently in six boutiques in the St. Louis area where these are sold for up to $125.00.
